Home Mutual Insurance Company is a mutual insurance company licensed in the state of Indiana with a wholly owned agency, Home Insurance Agency of Tell City, Inc. and a subsidiary of our agency, German Mutual Insurance Agency with offices in Tell City and New Albany.  In 2008 we celebrated our 132nd anniversary as a company.  Our agency began its Tell City operations in 1967, with the satellite office in New Albany beginning in 2002.

Our primary goal since being established in 1876 continues to be “to provide the citizens of our area the best possible insurance protection and professional service for the most affordable premium, consistent with sound financial management.”

We employ a staff of 13 highly experienced and professional individuals to provide both the quality and personalized service that you deserve.  In addition to offering excellent service, we pride ourselves in supporting local community programs.  We do look forward to your next visit.
